Meal Plans
Meal plans are not for everyone and they can be over whelming if you suddenly try to make 35 new meals in a week! We want things to be as simple as possible and we don’t expect you to follow the meal plan if you don’t want to. Instead, we recommend:
- Think about a meal time where you’d like some new ideas e.g. morning tea
- From the meal plan pick the morning teas you like. Repeat that morning tea as many times as you like or mix it up with your own familiar favourites.
- As you feel more confident and ready, choose the next meal to try and do the same thing.
- Don't worry if you don’t follow what the meal plan says or you eat something off track, it’s totally normal!
- Look over your meal plan at the start of the week and get things ready in advance. For example, if hummus is on the menu make it on your day off and it will last all week. Cook and freeze meals on your day off if you’re too busy to cook at night time, use pre made salad bags, pre chop your own vegetables or use frozen veggies to save time.
