 2 oranges peeled
 1 Carrot peeled or well scrubbed
 12 g Piece of fresh ginger (about the size of a dice)
 300 ml cold water
 ice (optional

Place all ingredients in the Nutribullet and blitz until smooth.

It will be thick because of all the fabulous fibre so enjoy it knowing it is a great feast for your gut bugs!

Note: if you’re one for pre prepping, peel and chop your oranges and freeze them. Then you can leave out the ice and your smoothie will be even more flavorsome and still nice and chilled.

  1. I tried this in the vegetable week just to add in another serve of veggies. I’ve never been a fan of veggies in my smoothies, but really loved this. It was a lot though so I halved it and had half for afternoon tea one day and the other half for morning tea the next 🙂
