Pork Sausages with roasted red cabbage, broccolini and home-made garlic bread

 8 lean pork sausages
 ½ purple cabbage, cut into 1 cm thick slices
 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
 1 tbsp maple syrup
 2 broccolini bunches 
 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
 salt and pepper
Home-made garlic bread

Preheat the oven to 180°c. Prepare the garlic bread (as per garlic bread recipe) and put into the oven at the same time you put sausages on the BBQ.

Heat up the BBQ and in the mean time prepare the cabbage and broccolini.

Mix olive oil and maple syrup together in a mug with a fork and season with salt and pepper.

Spread red cabbage out on two large baking trays in a single layer and drizzle with the maple dressing, massaging it into the cabbage with your fingers.

Wash the broccolini drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper.

Put cabbage and garlic bread in the oven for 20 minutes, cook sausages on the BBQ. If cabbage looks soggy turn and cook for another 10minutes, the edges should go crispy.

When the sausages are ready put broccolini on the BBQ and grill for two minutes and turn and repeat 3 times.
