It's not just any hummus! It's amazing hummus!
 400 g chickpeas (1 tin)
3 cloves, garlic, cut into three pieces
 60 ml tahini
 2 tsp ground cumin
 2 tsp ground coriander
 salt and pepper
 1 tbsp lemon juice
  cup extra virgin olive oil

1

Peel garlic cloves and cut them in half lengthways and place in a small frying pan with the olive oil over a medium heat and cook until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.

2

Drain and rinse chickpeas and place into a blender. Add all other ingredients to the blender and by this time your garlic and olive oil should be cool enough to add. Blend to a consistency of your liking.

3

Serve with a selection of vegetable sticks as a snack while dinner is cooking. My favourites at the moment are red capsicum, carrot and snow peas!
